John Kelly
Program Manager, Flight Opportunities, NASA

John Kelly is the Program Manager for NASA’s Flight Opportunities Program at Armstrong Flight Research Center, Edwards Air Force Base, California. He has worked at Armstrong since 1988, except for a short stint in commercial aerospace in 1996 and a detail assignment to Mojave Air and Space Port in 2014. John has served in many areas during his career, including, flight controls and flight systems engineering, software engineering, and various roles in aerospace program and project management. John earned his MBA with IT emphasis from University of La Verne (2008) and B.S. Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (1992). John is a Senior Member of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, active in the Tucson Chapter; John is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP®).
